Two of my dearest blogging friends and writing mentors, Nadine Laman and Glyn Pope have joined their creatives forces and here's the result; Glyn's novel, The Doctor, The Plutocrat, and The Mendacious Minister, which is due around November 1st, will be published by Nadine's Cactus Rain Publishing.
I really like that cover. Don't you?
Here's the summary:
Doctor Peter Latymer, full of innocence and hope, arrives at his new position on a council estate in Leicester. He quickly becomes the local miracle worker. Without a grasp of the complexities of life, he sets out to right injustices that he doesn't fully understand and unravels the delicate balance between nobility and poor, and the struggling economy still reliant on rationing and the black market in post WWII England.
Both Nadine and Glyn have been very supportive and encouraging, and I'm very happy about this collaboration. I've met Nadine a year ago. She's a wonderful writer and I loved her books, Kathryn's Beach, High Tide and Storm Surge (they are great summer reads, while we're at it). Glyn was one of the authors who contributed to Nadine's blog party. We had some much fun chatting (donkeys, marmite, anyone?) Here you can find out more about Glyn's novels, To The End Of Love and Learning to Wave.
I wish both of you all the best and much success!
